Benefit Art Sale

Deadline extended until June 29th!

The Westfield Art Association is striving to benefit our community in these difficult times, and you can help. Each year the WAA awards a scholarship to a High School Senior chosen by the WHS Art department.

Create and donate a small, 7×5 original artwork to be sold for the benefit of The Westfield Art Association’s, Westfield High School Scholarship Fund.

The original art you create will be made available to the public for purchase at a flat rate of $55. The artist will not be responsible for the shipping cost. If your piece is sold, we will contact you and arrange for art transfer.

Any medium is acceptable, including photography. The subject matter is open; however, nudity is not permitted. All art will be sold unframed. Images will be displayed on, and social media.

Submission Guidelines :

Be sure to include the following in the email:
Your Name
Phone number
Title of art

Photo of your art

File requirements:

Please submit photo that best showcases your 7×5 original art.
There is no limit to how many pieces you can submit.
File type: .jpeg
Name your files as follows: Lastname_Firstname_Title_Medium_size.jpg Example: Rowan_Atkinson_A Day At The Beach_Oil on Canvas_7x5.jpg

Submission is FREE for Westfield Art Association Members in good standing.
Non Members can join WAA as a member on our webpage.

Railside Cafe Exhibit

Thank you to all the wonderful Westfield Art Association artists participating in the Railside Cafe Exhibit. We have put together a wonderful show to be enjoyed by many.

The show will go on until the end of March.

Come out on Thursday, March 12th, 6 pm, to meet and mingle, see the art, and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Railside Cafe is located on 250 South Avenue in Fanwood, on the corner of Martine.

UC Freeholders Gallery Exhibit

Union County issued a press release for the exhibit.

You can visit the exhibit, it is located on the 6th floor of the Union County Administration Building, 10 Elizabethtown Plaza, Elizabeth.

The Freeholders Gallery is open to the public free of charge from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
