South Avenue Arts - Garwood
There are two shows currently on display at South Avenue Arts in Garwood.
The Scholarship Sale items, with mostly 5″ x 7″ and 8″ x 8″ pieces donated by our generous member artists, are all on sale for $60 each. We have already raise over $700 during the sale and the proceeds will fund a college scholarship for one or two high school seniors who intend to pursue art. Get over to South Avenue Arts and see the art before they all find new homes!
The end of year student show is also currently on display at South Avenue Arts. Many of our member artists take classes or participate in workshops at South Avenue Arts and their work is featured in the student show.
South Avenue Arts is located at 221 South Avenue in Garwood. The shows can be viewed during regular class hours.
Union County Senior Art Exhibit - Scotch Plains
The 2025 Union County Senior Art Exhibit features artwork by older adults age 60 and up. Many of our talented artists have work on display in the show and a number of them have won awards in the show. The senior art exhibit is on display at the Union County Vocational and Technical School (UCVTS) campus, located at 1776 Raritan Road in Scotch Plains. The show is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and is open until 8:00 pm on Tuesdays.
Galeria Art Venue - Westfield
Our members Jennifer Wilner and Darrin Owens both have artwork on display and for sale at Galeria The Art Venue, located at 111 Quimby Street in Westfield. You can view their pieces during regular business hours in downtown Westfield.
The Artist Framer - Cranford
Our member Diane Gallo is May’s Featured Artist at The Artist Framer, located at 116 North Avenue West in Cranford. You can see Diane’s beautiful pastels during regular business hours at The Artist Framer.
Westfield Memorial Library - Westfield
Member Heda Matiejunas has a solo exhibtion in the cafe section of the Westfield Memorial Library on view until the end of June. You can see her amazing representational oil paintings during library hours. The cafe section is on the ground floor near the round study tables.
Sam Mooney, our current Artist-in-Residence, continues her residency until the end of June. You can see her preparing her artwork in person on Wednesdays and Saturdays. See more details below.
Atelier Rosal - Rahway
Atelier Rosal currently is exhibiting a collaboration called Unboxed: Beyond Borders, featuring work by artists from New South Wales, Australia and artists from New Jersey. Members Sharon Reed and Darrin Owens both have pieces included in the exhibition. Member Heda Matiejunas is a regular featured artist at Atelier Rosal also. You can see the Unboxed: Beyond Borders show and work by Heda during regular business hours at Atelier Rosal, located at 74 Cherry Street in Rahway.
