On Sunday May 19 South Ave Arts welcomed the Westfield Art Association and the Westfield Weavers Guild for a relaxing afternoon of fiber arts. The Westfield Weavers brought a great variety of looms and fibers and welcomed everyone to both enjoy the demonstrations as well as fully participate. There was even a spinning wheel in operation!
Attendees were fascinated as we observed the variations in color, pattern and textures available to artists who weave fibers into art. It was a true delight as these knowledgeable artisans demonstrated their craft, answered questions and shared their passion throughout the warm spring afternoon.
