Attention Westfield Art Association Artist. Bring your easel, brushes and paints and set up in Brightwood Park. Any painting or drawing medium. Meet with fellow artists. There will be an opportunity to display your art at the end of the event if you choose to. We will have a judge and award prizes. Please note, to qualify for a prize, the art has to be completed in the time allotted for painting while in the park.

First, we had a fantastic in person meeting at the Westfield Memorial Library in February. We discussed upcoming member shows and several members shared recent art works that they created. Genevieve (Eve) Leonard gave a wonderful presentation about fine art animation. You can see more about Eve and her art at www.genevieveleonard.com.

Francesca Azzara, one of our wonderful board members has agreed to help us manage our account. She wants you to join and share your work! Clara Owens, one of our youngest members, is an amazing artists. Do not miss her show at the Heartwork Children’s Gallery. Reception is this Saturday 2-4. Clara’s work will be on display until April 1st!
Right now we have a show in the Commissioner’s Gallery in Elizabeth. The art will be on view until May 6th. Thank you to all the amazing artists that are participating in the show! Every year Westfield Art Association gives a scholarship to a senior student that is going to study art, selected by the Westfield High School. It is that time of the year again! Below, you will find artwork created by our members, and donated for this wonderful online benefit art sale. When you purchase the art here, a portion of the proceeds will go toward the scholarship for next year.
Each piece of art has been generously donated by our artists, and is priced at $60.00.

A photography show featuring the work of Matt Allouf and Lenny McDonald
A group show featuring two of our WAA members. There is beauty everywhere if you are open to seeing it. Matt and Lenny’s Industrial landscapes, insects, and cityscapes complement each other work in composition and color. This inspirational collaboration invites you to see the beauty that is all around us.
